We waited for her,
Here where we once entered,
Now standing as pass outs.
And then she came-
Wearing a blazer,
Similar to the one in the old picture,
Standing next to the one she loved.
I said to him, "She's there".
She turned and saw him-
He who once in a blazer,
in the same old picture,
Now in a shirt indistinct from the crowd.
We went after her as she went in.
But she disappeared not moments after. She'd exited through the back gate, making a run in vain.
But we came out in time to see her again,
With us going after her.
She finally sat in a chair, knowing she was surrounded, and he stood beside her, broken yet just wanting answers.
Meanwhile I stand in between,
At a distance bit afar,
With a mind full of questions -
What happened?
Was what I did right?
Why was she running from the one she loved?
And maybe... They'll forever be as questions in my mind with missing answers...
